Andrew J. Kestner joined Witmer, Karp, Warner & Ryan LLP in 2007, where he concentrates his practice in all areas of family law and probate litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kestner served for two years as a clerk for the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, including the Middlesex, Essex, Worcester and Bristol Divisions. Mr. Kestner also served as law clerk to Chief Justice Sean M. Dunphy in Suffolk County. While serving as a clerk, he worked on a variety of family law, probate law and equity matters.

Mr. Kestner is a graduate of Union College, Schenectady, New York (B.A. 2002) and received his law degree from Villanova School of Law (J.D. 2005). While attending Villanova School of Law, he was a member of the Moot Court Board and Mock Trial Team.

Mr. Kestner has authored material published by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. (MCLE) relating to issues of taxation and asset division in divorce matters. He is a member of the family law sections of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Villanova School of Law Alumni Association, New England Division. Mr. Kestner was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in November 2005.
